After my adventure with the giant, knotted Graemen werewolf dildo, I was excited to trying something longer with just as big a knot: Nothosaur's Mathayus dildo*.

THE DETAILS

Technically it's a "scorpion king" design, but Mathayus's ridges and coloration remind me of large fantasy dragons, rock hard while admiring their pile of gold. Just like your average Bad Dragon fantasy toy, it's extremely large (well, I got the extra large size, hehe). The full length is 11.8 inches, with a solid base, and measures almost an even 2 inches at the tip (perfect for a good "full" feeling) and 3.3 inches across at the knot (just enough to feel it slam into you without popping in too quickly. (There are of course many smaller sizes; check their website for a diagram.)

Mathayus sports a number of prickly, textured spikes along its length, and it features 3 large "bulbs": two at the top that make for a great popping sensation (not unlike large anal beads), and the humongous knot at the very bottom, above the base.

As usual, for background context on how I use this toy: I'm an AMAB non-binary femboy-presenting submissive, and an anal and oral toy user.

THE REVIEW

Silicone
Nothosaur's past toys have varied kind of significantly depending on the toy's design and relative density of the silicone. I'll say: this is THE BEST feeling one I've tried yet. The toy is sturdy enough to stand on its own, yet not hard enough to feel like it's puncturing my insides (the sort of feeling I noted in the last werewolf review). The knot, of course, is quite hard, but flexible – if you're into knotting, this toy is a beast, particularly for its length, since the flexibility can really track along the path of your inside cavities. The two bulbs in the middle, though: really mind-blowing... and feel so good I orgasmed hands-free on this toy, which is extremely rare for me!

Overall, I'd say it's between a medium-soft texture: could be even more flexible, but it's just enough to have an amazing time, if you're going slow, or desperate to thrust it fast and deep.

Color
For this toy, I requested a custom coloration: black and gold. You can see that they've matched the visuals extremely well for the length, and the gradient is stunning. However, it's worth pointing out there was a slight coloration drip-error along the base. (Customer service though is quite good and communicates frequently around problems like this.)

Design
I described the overall design above, but I'll highlight two things:
The base: it's huge and hides a large suction cup. This feature is amazing if you're looking to do floor play. It's not so great, though, if you want to do basic play with your hands. It means the toy is base-heavy, which can be difficult to maneuver. But you can still grab underneath the knot, which provides a lot of good stability regardless, so you can still have a lot of fun – and maybe this design actually helps with trusting into yourself even harder, if you're into that.
The "dragon"-like textures. I like the fantasy design of Mathayus because of those little spikes: just hard enough to feel flick against your hole, yet smooth and supple enough to not feel anything weird while it's inside you. Also, the two small bulb-knots feel amazing as they pump in and out of you. If you're into anal-bead feeling experiences, this toy is absolutely a must-buy.
The length is also quite enormous on the XL version, but boy does it feel good, because the tip (while it looks it) is not that pointy. The full length is a bit long for deepthroating, but I can just get it down enough so that the knot presses against my lips with no trouble, so the length-to-width ratio is still really usable even on the XL.
One final note: there's no cumtube version for this toy, so bear that in mind if you're looking for fluid play.

Pricing
Cost is actually where Mathayus shines right now: it's really cheap. It doesn't seem to be as popular as some of Nothosaur's other toys (like their horses or dogs), but it's surprisingly inexpensive in comparison (and definitely compared to other major producers like Bad Dragon). You can pick it up on their website or conveniently on Amazon as well, and shipping times are not bad (at least more available than BD's current waitlist). Nothosaur is still doing some after-holiday sales into the spring, if you want to get in on them by checking their Twitter for codes.
I like how this toy is pretty different from other things on the market, especially with those two bulbs and a massive knot at the bottom.

IN SUM
Overall, if you want to try fantasy toys, Nothosaur's line has been really fun and diverse. For Mathayus: it's a MEGA recommended buy. I seriously can't get enough of this dragon daddy and how much it fills me up.
Feel free to ask questions below, and go check out my other videos using the toy on my profile if you're interested.
